It should be noted that the order listed doesn't strictly follow lower to higher bandwidth. Your typical cable connection has better downstream bandwidth than a T1 (which is only 1.44mbps, and usually less because some of your channels are used for phone), although cable generally has less upstream bandwidth. A DSL connection can be greater than a T1 as well, although for most home users it usually isn't.

I put "tin cans and string" since thats basically how dial up runs! I am one of those pathetic dial up people. Hopefully, in the very near future though, wireless will be an option for me and I can go in that direction and get quicker loads to get into the game faster. Always love it when everyone has been waiting for me either twiddling their thumbs or making sure they've gone to the bathroom in their 15 minutes of waiting... *sigh*. C'est la vie!
